Brigadier General Andrew D. Costelo, Commander of the 703rd Brigade, commended the PNP and Army arresting teams for successfully neutralizing the rogue assailant after resisting arrest.
Meanwhile, the Commander of the 7th Infantry Division, Philippine Army, Major General Alfredo V. Rosario Jr., said that the resistance of alias " Isaac" to the arrest and him immediately opening fire against the law enforcement authorities only showed that he was truly a danger to the society.
"Tucay wasn’t repentant for his crimes, because if he was, he would have peacefully yielded to the arresting authorities. That’s why we are calling those who have pending criminal cases to peacefully surrender and face their charges in court,” said Major General Rosario Jr.
