7ID Opens Training for New Candidate Soldiers

    36224888 1614416255347355 8943648479087951872 oTwo batches of Candidate Soldiers (CS) Training was opened at the 7th Infantry (Kaugnay) Division, Philippine Army at 10:00 in the morning, today.
    The Opening Ceremony for 233 aspirants from CS Class 554 and Class 555-2018 was held at the 7ID Grandstand.
    Reception rites for the candidate soldiers immediately followed right after the Opening Ceremony. Officers and Enlisted Personnel composing the training directorate from the 7th Division Training School (7DTS) received the candidate soldiers.
    Lieutenant Colonel Jose Ambrocio F Rustia, the Commandant of 7DTS presented the 233 CS while Lieutenant Colonel Ali Ruis Macawaris, the Assistant Chief of Staff for Education and Training, G8, 7ID, declared the course open.
    All the 233 CS who will undergo training at 7DTS are all males. There are six female candidate soldiers under the 7ID quota who will also have their training at the Army Reserve Command (ARESCOM) at Camp Riego De Dios, Tanza, Cavite.
    Major General Felimon Santos Jr AFP, Commander, 7ID conveyed that part of the CS training is the transition of each individual from a carefree civilian to a disciplined soldier who is willing to sacrifice his life for his country. He challenged the candidate soldiers to finish the training and prove that each of them is worthy to be part of the class and be part of the Philippine Army.
