7ID Launches Additional Free Medical Service for Women

    photo5FORT MAGSAYSAY, NUEVA ECIJA – The 7th Infantry (Kaugnay) Division will be launching Post Natal Check-up every first Thursday of the month at 2:00 pm to 5:00pm that started on June 7, 2018.

    The Fort Magsaysay Station Hospital (FMASH) will give free medical services to female military personnel and military dependents that have given birth.

    Dr. Edwin V. Santiago, Medical Officer V of DOH NUEVA ECIJA coordinated with FMASH for said activity and even allotted more or less 40 vaccines in support of the event. Dr. Imelda M Sanchez MD, an Obstetrician-Gynecologist, one of FMASH medical retainers, will be conducting the post natal check-ups.

    It is noteworthy to mention that 10 enlisted women also got their Human Papiloma Virus (HPV) Vaccination today at FMASH which was donated by the Department of Health (DOH).

    Colonel Mamerto H Losa MC (GSC), Commanding Officer of FMASH, encourages all military personnel to take advantage of the free services that are being offered in military hospitals.

    MGen Felimon T Santos Jr AFP, Commander, 7ID said that the Division gives importance to the health of women in uniform and the dependents of our soldiers. He said that everybody is responsible in taking good care of their health.
